Prince William: ‘Too many killed’ in Israel-Gaza war
Prince William has expressed his concern over the high number of casualties in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza.
The Duke of Cambridge, who is currently on a royal visit to the Middle East, made the comments during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Speaking to reporters, Prince William said, “It is deeply saddening to see so many lives lost in this conflict. We must do everything we can to prevent further bloodshed and work towards a lasting peace.”
The Israel-Gaza war has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians, including many children. The violence, which erupted over tensions surrounding the status of Jerusalem, shows no signs of abating.
Prince William’s words come as a plea for peace and a call for an end to the senseless violence that has plagued the region for far too long.
